Disclosure

Affiliate disclosure

Plain English, in line with FTC guidance: here's exactly how this site makes money.

Ledger Businesses is reader-supported. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up for or buy a product, we may receive a commission.

It costs you nothing extra

Affiliate commissions are paid by the company, not by you. You pay the same price you would if you’d gone to the product’s website directly — using our links simply helps support the work that goes into testing and writing these reviews.

It never changes our opinion

This is the important part. Whether or not a company has an affiliate program has no influenceon our ratings, rankings or recommendations. We rate tools on merit from hands-on testing, and we’ll happily recommend a product we earn nothing from — or point out the flaws in one we do.

How to spot affiliate links

Outbound links to products that may earn us a commission carry a small affiliate tag near their first use on a page, open in a new tab, and use rel="sponsored nofollow". Pages that contain affiliate links also show a short disclosure near the top.

No fake reviews

We don’t publish fabricated testimonials, invented user counts or fake ratings. Editorial scores are our own opinion, clearly presented as such. You can read more about our process on the about page.
